Dusk is going to pay the first NPC she runs into a visit, whether that's a teammate or non.
SHE RUNS INTO FUN GUY! Who is still getting moved into one of the apartments. He's been carrying boxes of stuff from the forest here all last week. How much shit does one druggie ex-cultist have??
He spots you, and nods.
"Ohh, it's the Ruler. Heard you're going on a trip. Want something of mine to help you along the way?"
"Ohh, it's Swirly Shroom! You found a place, huh?" She peeks in it, wow it's like as nice as the castle, I bet. "Sure, if you wanna!"
It's actually nicer than the castle. Like, it actually has furniture and it doesn't look like it's falling apart. Sad 2 be u, but at least your people are living okay. Sacrifices had to be made! Right?
"Yeah, yeah, wouldn't have a safe place if it weren't for you guys. Hold on."
He rummages through his box a moment, and... pulls out a pocketwatch for her.
"This thing's called a Ticktick. Maybe it's magic or mindtricks, man I dunno, buuuut, it lets you get more time in the day?"
"Ticktick! You really got some weird stuff!" Dusk looks at it, and nods. "But thanks! Do you want something from me too?"
"Just your protection if the time ever comes."
He waves a hand and continues on his way.
She blinks, but pockets the watch anyway and also goes on her merry way.
