The Party - Part 3 - Would You Ignore Her?
Ophelia doesn't step back when approached by Dusk. She doesn't flinch at the cup being thrown, or move when the broken shards scatter by what would normally be her feet. No, she finds humor in this side of Dusk she's brought out. That's right—she's taking credit for this feeling she's stirred in Dusk She'll blame the girl and steal everything if she can.
"Maybe there is a reason you will always be called Dusk the Miserable. I want to see to it that people like you are always fucked over. Tell me, Dusk, you care so much for Halation, but if you found a woman trapped under a fallen piece of rubble, would you ignore her? Ignore her until she starves to death?"
Dusk the Best12/10/2017
"No, I don't want to."

"I said, no, I don't want to! I don't wanna ignore anybody."
Primrose the Blessed12/10/2017
Why this? Why now? Why do balls suck? Where'd that fucking gun go?
GM12/10/2017
On the bright side, Primrose, your party stuck a revolver in your pocket a while ago. They stole it from prison. It deals 1D6 damage.
Primrose the Blessed12/10/2017
It is a good idea to give cats deadly weapons.
GM12/10/2017
Always.
Ophelia is finding it hard to keep her cool. The ink at her "feet" bubbles and boils, which could bring trouble and toil
Still, she's intent on dragging Dusk down.
"And yet, I was ignored! Our own Ruler gazed upon my helpless form, trapped beneath a piece of the room that had fallen as the labyrinth shifted, and ignored me!" She snaps her fan shut, leaning towards her a bit. "This is why I want to kill him! I want to kill anyone who could be heir, or anyone who could take over!"
Early and Cinderella look over from from faaarr behind. That sure did indicate them. Still, Cinderella's busy dealing with the last of the zombies. She can't get involved. And Early is a weakling.
Ophelia continues shouting. "People are the worst! I can't stand them!"

Before I forget to say, Clima is definitely hopping off this dragon lady's back and reuniting with Dusk before,
something more happens,
like that I guess.
Definitely trying to yank Dusk back from that jesus christ?
Juno the Natural12/10/2017
Suddenly, Juno pipes up! From behind Dusk. They were totally here all along and being a good robot shield.
"They aren't the worst! Can't you see... we're trying to reach out to you?"
Dusk the Best12/10/2017
Dusk doesn't move from it, even with the bubbles boiling, better YANK HARDER CLIMA, "But mmm, they can be bad. That's true. They can do a lot of terrible, awful things! After all, you can look at Halation right?" You can look at her name, right?
But then!
Dusk!
Smiles!
"But I won't be like them. I want to make friends and then we'll have fun and sing songs and dance. And that way, there won't be any other person who will feel like they have to change their name to be happy. Because Juno's right, there are lots of good people too! I have made a lot of friends! Friends with people who tried to betray . . . or even kill us!"

...................she's so cute.............!!!
GM12/10/2017
Ophelia lowers her head, scowling at the three of you. That's right, Clima gets a glare, too, for daring to try and protect his beloved~~ Ophelia's beautiful face is contorted from her rage. Anger really does make a person ugly.
"What kind of fairy-like bullshit is this? I'm disgusted...! Everything is being ruined!"
She points at Slot with a tentacle from her lower half. "And he defeated my grunt, so if something has to be done, it'll be by me! I'll wipe all of you out...!"
The ink from her body flows across the ground.
Clima, Dusk, Juno (if you're participating further): please give me a Quest + 2D6 roll, no beat/meet, to determine how you handle this. UNLESS YOU HAVE ANOTHER ACTION, which is A+, but this ink will likely trap and damage you if you don't get away.

GM12/10/2017
Dusk, in a move most stunning and elegant, you perform a grand jeté to leap far enough away from the oily ink. A true call to your dancing soul.
Clima you support her leap and give her a little extra momentum, more than she needed, to get away. Of course, you escape from the ink's clutches as well, though you do have some of it on your foot. It makes your foot sting, through your fine leather shoes the ballroom staff made you wear, and you take 2 damage.
Juno, you, too, are able to escape the oily ink's acidic clutches without getting any on you. You move quickly, stepping far enough back that it shouldn't cause you trouble.
Ophelia, realizing that this tactic won't be enough retracts her ink slowly, pulling it back into herself. With a Wit over 9 roll, you can read her next plan, but maybe that won't be necessary if a Court member is planning something...

Slot, indeed is planning something. He's been watching these proceedings, slowly recovering his energy from his own fight. Remembering the orb he stole while in prison, he pulls it out and steadies his grip. He only has one shot at this, and so he decides to aim at the ink on the ground, hoping to catch it, and Ophelia, on fire.

Meanwhile, Clima is able to discern that she is building up her ink into thick tentacles that could lash out at them. It's just hard to tell since it's all black, goopy ink, but he can pick out this much.
If this sphere doesn't work out, you'll have ot deal with a tentacle attack.

Slot chucks the sphere just by Ophelia, shattering it and summoning a circle of flames that engulf her. She can't escape, and she knows this, but she tries inching towards the ring of fire in her defiant attempt to murder all of you. However, just as the edge of her inky lower half nears the flames, her body abruptly erupts into fire that reaches the ceiling. The rank smell of burning oil fills the air, as do her bloody screams. She's yelling, she's cursing, but the melting of her mouth is making it hard to parse her words.
You can see the silhouette of her body, burning and melting. The way her eyeballs ooze. The nose that slides off her face, the shoulders that slump off of her.
Until she's no more.
Dusk the Best12/10/2017
