Dream pt 2 - Hope
Tonight, you enjoy the last part of your dream.
Your dream picks up where you left off, at the citizens being disgruntled—no, disturbed, by the suggestions that Parsley and Snip made... insisting that you were all worthless, and unfitting of leading this kingdom.
This caused an outroar.
"Please look on the bright side. Um, sorry, did you hear me?" Parlsey is calling out, waving his hands. "PLEASE LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE! We're going to give you everything you want!" He spreads his arms, and in doing so the ceiling instantaneously parts. A dark purple pours into the room, and an Angel, by which I mean something that looks like it came straight out of NGE, descends. With a smile so saintly and right, and his arms still parted, Parsley continues.
"But, our first act of kindness..." A slight incline of his head."...will be removing this court from its place in Halation."
Yelling erupts from the crowd in vast opposition. The cultists stand their guard around the brothers as your citizens attempt to revolt. Even Domino, with her heavy gauntlet gloves, takes a shot at one of them with all of her force—only for her hands simply drop to the ground like they're entrapped in cinderblocks.
Snip laughs as he witnesses the results of their speech.
"Huuuuh? Do we seem malicious? We're merely maintaining your—aha, *our* kingdom, one step at a time. One does not weep for the overgrowth they trim from a bonsai, and one does not shed a tear over the grime they scrub from a bathroom tile. Each and every one of you are wonderful beings, and you deserve better, so we are replacing this repugnant court. That is all."
The cultists, all at once, stick their fingers in their ears before that hell-spawn Angel's horn bellows through the room, shaking the walls and making your ears ring. Your skin is tingling at a rapid pace now, burning and—
Oh.
Your body's disintegrating. Rainbow and gold foil pieces of your body flutter about as you break apart. The expressions of your citizens as they witness this are heartbreaking.
They finally noticed that you had been there all along.
There are tears in their eyes, many are shouting and reaching for you, blocked by the wall of hooded cultists that seperate them from you. Even if you didn't know many of them personally, they seemed to have more respect for you than you might have thought. They really did... find value in all of you. They had,
Hope.
