The Case of the Missing Vegetables pt 1
Eventually you all meet up together and head into the labyrinth. As you know, this room is utilized for your kingdom's farming! Though this land has not been officially claimed by your people, as it's just a room outside your kingdom in a the neighboring labyrinth, everything grown in here is by and for your kingdom.
In COMPLETE contrast to your kingdom, it's as nice as a warm spring day in here.
This is a simple room that consists of a straight path leading through an overgrown forest to a wooden door. Bright light filters through the tree tops, and the shadows cast by the trees are motionless—likely due to the distinct lack of wind. Perhaps that's why, despite all this crisp greenery, there's a vague scent of stagnancy in the air.
As for the gardens? Well, between the patches of trees along the path, you'll find the plots of land that…
…have been completely and utterly trashed. Ripped roots and sparse amounts smashed vegetation lay strewn about. The tiny, tiny picket fences that surrounded each plot, and were lovingly crafted by someone who wanted this to look very cute, are now broken and snapped into pieces. The small signs used to identify the plants stick crooked from the ground, with sloppy red words written over the pictures.
A scene like this represents a peace that's been deliberately disturbed.

The door opens to an old pool area encompassed by trees, shrubbery, and plants. Flowers lay in bloom atop the murky water, flowing serenely with help from the piano fountain that pours in.
Off to the side, between some broken columns and arches, you'll find a few abandoned lawn chairs. The exit lies on the opposite side of the room, past the pool. Off by a nearby flower bed, there are large leaves sticking straight out from the ground…?
Slot's animal companions that have totally been here the whole time wow how did you not notice a fox and wolf this whole time take this opportunity to start marking the trees.
Slot isn't too concerned with stopping them as he's going to check out those leaves sticking straight out of the ground.
Oh. They aren't just leaves.
Seven of these little guys look up at you.

"Oh!! Oh, oh it is a human shaped!!"
"Uwaaah, and did that animal make water on the tree? That's so nice!!"
Mostly, it's these two talking to you two.
Juno, not one to stray far from all this intriguing human company, has followed after Slot. And oh! What is this!!
"Well, mostly human shaped," Slot responds, making sure to emphasize his wolf ears and tail.
They look at each other.
"Aaah, that's so neat! It's a dog man! That's what they're called, right, they're dogggs!"
"I don't know what a dog is."
"...I think it's a dog, hello dog man, and hello other humans! Oh, oh that one is going to get in the water!"
"Oh, I wanna get in the water!"
"I don't."
"I can take you to the water." Juno offers helpfully, to the one who said they want to be in the water.
The one that made that comment, the :> one, declines with the same exact face. Their faces don't change.
"It's okay! I'm in here because I need to grow! Someone called us garbage, and said we were good for nothing. We all decided that if we try to plant ourselves, we might grow into something that wouldn't be called garbage!"
"I want to be beautiful!"
"Me, too, me too!"
Suddenly there's a chorus of "I WANT TO BE BEAUTIFUL!!" from the other five in the back.
Juno nods very seriously!! That makes complete sense. "No wonder! How horrible of them to call you that... I'm sure you'll all grow to be beautiful very soon!"
Juno rolls: (1+6)+3 = 10 to charm the :>mans. (Charm)
The :> leaf fella is touched by your words.
"Uwaaaah, did you hear that!! They said I'm going to be beautiful very soon!!"
There's a chorus of awe responses behind them, everyone's so!!
Slot crouches down to poke at one.
Slot... Slot, that's rude. But, they don't seem bothered.
"What does this mean? Yes, hello, dog man, I am here!"
What do they feel like? Are they soft or firm?
They are soft and tender! They are kind of like a marshmallow, actually!
The responses to Juno's comment rage on and on.
"Hey, hey, what if you're beautiful now!"
"Yes! Yes, come out, let us see your beauty!"
They're talking to the :> thing, of course.
It's blushing, this is exciting.
Slot wants to ask a question, but he's just going to wait to see how Juno reacts to this while still poking at one.
!!! How exciting indeed. Juno's eyes are brimming with expectation, surely this will be an amazing event!
"Let's see, let's see!"
